FESTIVE AND EVENTS AT HONG KONG (future)

The Hong Kong Tourism Board brings you ‘Festive Hong Kong 2010’ an exciting year-long sequence of festivals and events offering visitors a diverse assortment of unique traditional Chinese festivals and Western cultural celebrations. This year, we have a wider selection than ever before, the events are more exciting, the festivals and the fiestas are more fabulous and the entertainment is more exhilarating.

Highlights:
Badminton fans are in for a real treat as more than 200 of the world's top players from more than 20 countries and regions come to town vying for the grand prize of US$250,000.



This is one of the largest outdoor expos in Hong Kong, featuring famous local as well as overseas brands and quality products.


Now recognised as the 'Turf World Championships', the Hong Kong International Races is one of the most important fixtures for the world's leading horses, jockeys, trainers and owners.



 
Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular (From 22 December onwards)
Based on the award-winning BBC TV series, Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular comes to life in a stunning theatrical event when 20 life-size dinosaurs return before your very eyes.

This martial arts event will feature 1111 traditional Chinese dragons and lions hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Lion Dance Display in a single event.



Get set for top sports action as some of the best 'World Top Tens' and Grand Slam Champions descend upon Hong Kong for the city's showpiece tennis event.
